Testing First Plan Guidance

The following is meant as guidance and not strict rules to follow. We recommend that your team review the following options and select which will work best for your setup.
Testing the first SFTP File
One option is to set up on demand instead of automatic processing for the first files.
Complete all 5 steps in the Relius Overview and Setup.
In Step 5 make a change so that either or both of the SFTP task or the polling task are set to On demand for their frequency.
Once you have tested that you are able to access a file from our SFTP then make sure the update the frequencies back to the original settings you chose (not on demand).
Data Validation Center options
Once your have set up your tasks to automatically process files from Finch, there are several options for ho to set up the Data Validation Center. Here are two common options:
Leave the Data Validation Center on for off cycle payrolls
Turn off the Data Validation Center
Which over option you choose, make sure to communicate to your Plan Sponsors any of the following that apply:
If you are leaving on the Data Validation Center, identify which payrolls it will still be used to process and which date it will no longer process normal payrolls.
If you are turning off the Data Validation Center, what date it will be turned off
