Provider Setup Steps

TriNet

  • When authenticating in Finch Connect, plan sponsors will be given directions to log in to their TriNet account to get an API token for the integration. They will choose the integration named Finch Retirement Data.

  • Once the connection is live on your dashboard, and before you send a file to PensionPro, click on the connection then click on the Integrations tab for that connection, the click on the Configure Settings button. Enter the EIN for that plan that you have set in PensionPro.

Gusto

Gusto requires TPAs to complete a Terms of Service one time that will enable Gusto in Finch Connect for all their plan sponsors.

If someone sent you a Finch Connect link and Gusto is not listed on the Provider selection screen, please reach out to the person who sent you the link and notify them that you would like to connect with Gusto and they need to follow the directions below.

If Gusto is listed, then you are good to go because that means the service agreement was already signed by the TPA.

If you are a direct Finch customer (you have a Finch Dashboard) and created a Finch Connect link and Gusto is not listed, your company needs to complete a terms of service to enable Gusto by following these directions.

  1. Email implementation-team@tryfinch.com from your company email so we can identify you as our customer. Let us know that you are a TPA that uses our PensionPro integration  (if you are not please reach out to the person who sent you this link) and would like to sign the service agreement for Gusto access. We will send you a link for the service agreement.

  2. Fill out the form in that link to generate a contract (it may take a minute to load when you complete the form in the link). The contract that is generated will be emailed to you.

  3. After you have signed the contract, reply to the ticket you created in step one (when you sent the email to implementation-team) to let Finch know the contract has been signed.

  4. We will confirm with Gusto that they have received the contract then configure and enable Gusto for your plan sponsors to create connections.
