Connection Overview
Click into any connection for a more detailed information, and the ability to copy company and customer IDs. This page also includes
- The overall status of the connection broken down by product (e.g., organization, payroll, and deductions)
- The timestamp of the last successful data sync
- When the next sync is estimated to run
- Connection creation date
- A history of the most recently used access tokens, the connected provider, and the integration type the provider used to connect
Job History
The Job History tab provides a detailed view of all scheduled data syncs, including the job type (e.g. data sync, enroll benefits), completion time, and job status (e.g. pending, success, error). If you encounter an error or have questions, providing our support team with the Job ID will help them investigate and the issue.
API Explorer
The API Explorer is a powerful tool that allows you to interact with and test our API directly from your dashboard. It enables you to make live API calls, view the responses, and experiment with different endpoints and parameters in a controlled environment. This tool can help you understand how to integrate with our platform, troubleshoot issues, and validate requests. With detailed response data and built-in error handling, the API Explorer simplifies the process of exploring and leveraging our API's capabilities. Read more about the API Explorer in our blog.
Authentication Progress
Once an employer begins their session in Finch Connect, the Authentication Progress tab allows you to track their progress through each of the Finch Connect stages. You’ll be able to view how long the employer spent at each step and where they may have dropped off in the flow. If the employer encounters an authentication error, you can click More Info to open a side panel that displays the exact error message the employer was displayed in Finch Connect.
Session History
For a detailed timeline of events related to each session, you can use the Session History tab. This provides a more in-depth look into the session history and can be used to supplement the Authentication Progress view. For example, while the Authentication Progress view may show you the employer dropped off at the Terms of Service Stage, the Session History may show you that the user opened the session and exited the Terms of Service page six times before progressing to the next stage. This could indicate the employer has questions about the terms of service.
