Insperity - Request API keys

To connect your Insperity account to this application you will need to request your API keys. Please follow the instructions below.

 

Instructions

Step 1: Sign Insperity's API Terms of Use form

  • Download and sign Insperity's API Terms of Use form. Insperity requires this form in order to send you an API key. This must be signed by someone at your company who can authorize Insperity to share company and employee data via the API connection.

 

Step 2: Email your completed form to integrationspecialists@insperity.com

If your team uses this application to sync Organization data only

Hi, I am writing to request an API token to allow access to HRIS data via Finch. Attached is the signed API Terms of Use form. We will need the following IP addresses allowlisted:

  • 54.70.164.46
  • 217.138.217.36

The API Key will need access to the following endpoints:

  • /company/{companyid}/employeescompany/v1
  • /company/{companyid}/departments/v1
  • /company/{companyid}/employeesposition/v1
  • /company/{companyid}/employeescommunication/v1
  • /company/{companyid}/employeescompany/v1
  • /company/{companyid}/employeesposition/v1
  • /company/{companyid}/employeesemployment/v1
  • /company/{companyid}/employeescompensation/v1

Since Finch has worked with Insperity to do testing of their integration, if you can supply us with production API keys directly, we can forward those keys to Finch.

Step 3: Link your Insperity account

Once Insperity provides you with the requested API key --

1. Locate the Company ID found on the homepage of your Insperity account next to your company name in the Employee Directory page.

2. Navigate back to the Finch Connect modal. Enter the Company ID along with the API token provided from Insperity in the Finch Connect modal.

3. Click 'I've read and completed the instructions' and click Connect.
